Delaware Fertility Specialists
IVF programs
While many centers will treat infertility with IVF, an infertility diagnosis does not necessarily mean a patient will need IVF treatment. Our board certified doctors believe unexplained infertility is mostly unexplored infertility, and is not an answer to your fertility challenges. Before considering IVF, we will first determine a clear diagnosis and develop a personalized care plan based on your needs.
If we believe IVF is the most effective way to begin building your family, we will use a team approach to decide which of our IVF programs is right for you.
Why IVF might be right for you
- If your fallopian tubes are damaged
- If you or your male partner has significant infertility
- If you have severe pelvic adhesions or abnormalities
- If you have severe endometriosis
- If you have been unsuccessful with other fertility treatment options
Why IVF at CCRM Fertility is unique
We use a team approach, and our IVF patients start IVF at the same time.
Unlike other fertility centers that constantly run IVF cycles, we start our IVF treatments at defined times. This lets us give you the best care possible, since every member of our fertility team is on the same page. Our doctors and clinicians discuss every one of our patient’s IVF cycles, allowing them to make the most effective decisions for your treatment.
We are a nationwide leader in single embryo transfer (SET).
Transferring one embryo is the safest and most effective way to attain a healthy pregnancy. SET implantation rates for IVF are higher than transferring multiple embryos and reduces the likelihood of a twin or triplet birth to less than 2%.
Our lab is state-of-the-art.
Our IVF laboratory is one of the most advanced labs in the country and is home to one of the few EmbryoScope® incubators in the United States. Our technicians have pioneered the use of techniques such as “Biopsy and Hold” and have presented research at the annual American Society for Reproductive Medicine Scientific Congress & Expo in addition to the World IVF Congress Annual Meeting.
We offer genetic counseling to all our patients.
Genetic counseling is an important part of both preconception and prenatal care. Unlike many other fertility centers, we have a genetic counselor on staff to meet with patients. Continuous advancements in preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) enable patients to make informed decisions when planning their pregnancy. Patients with a family history of genetic disease have the opportunity to identify which embryos do not carry genetic diseases. In addition, PGT can significantly improve pregnancy rates, by identifying those embryos that are genetically and chromosomally normal.
