Dr. Angela H. Liu is a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility specialist who is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Liu’s passions range from third-party reproduction to LGBTQ+ family-building, advocating access to fertility care, and building impactful relationships while guiding patients through personalized fertility treatments.
Dr. Liu completed her medical degree at the University of California – San Diego, where she distinguished herself academically and clinically. Following medical school, she pursued a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Medicine, where she gained extensive experience in women’s health and reproductive medicine. She went on to complete a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center, honing her skills in managing complex fertility issues and advancing her research in the field.
Dr. Liu is an accomplished researcher and has published extensively in prestigious journals of reproductive medicine including Fertility and Sterility, the Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics, American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her research interests include preimplantation genetic testing and perinatal outcomes, embryo-endometrial asynchrony, and social media engagement and medical misinformation in reproductive health.
Throughout her training, Dr. Liu has received several awards recognizing her excellence in the field. She received the Cancer Research Training Award (CRTA) from the National Cancer Institute/National Institute of Health (NCI/NIH) while conducting epidemiology research on cervical cancer screening as a medical student. During her fellowship she was awarded the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology Prize Paper for her oral abstract. Most recently, she was selected as the 2024-2025 CREST (The Clinical Research/ Reproductive Scientist Training Program) Scholar by the NIH and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM).
Dr. Liu is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG).
Outside of the office, Dr. Liu channels her creativity into baking. She is passionate about long-distance running and looks forward to running her first marathon in the Bay Area.
As a native of Taiwan, Dr. Liu is fluent in Mandarin.
