Sara Bowen, DNP, APRN, WHNP-C, is a Nurse Practitioner at CCRM Fertility of Boston. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at UMASS Lowell, then moved to New York City and worked at New York Presbyterian Hospital in Surgical Oncology. After four years, she pursued a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Boston College in the Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner program. During her studies, she worked as an RN Surgical Gynecology-Oncology.

Sara joined CCRM in 2022. With Dr. Styer as her mentor, her responsibilities include performing monitoring transvaginal sonograms, management of ovulation induction cycles, management of first trimester obstetrical ultrasound and care, FDA exams, endometrial biopsies, uterine cavity evaluations, and return-to-care telehealth visits.  

Outside of work, Sara enjoys traveling to any place where there is a beach, New Hampshire Seacoast, Cape Cod and Costa Rica being some of her favorite places. Also, she is here today because of an IUI!
