Donation compensation
Compensation for your egg donation ranges from $7,000 to $9,500, thoughtfully designed to ensure fairness and recognize your commitment. After successfully completing your first egg retrieval, your compensation will increase by $500 for each subsequent cycle, reflecting both the cost of living in your area and the number of times you’ve donated. This increase applies for up to six donation cycles.

The egg donation process
Apply
Register and complete the Pre-Screening Questionnaire. We’ll reach out within 1-2 business days regarding approval.
Screening
If approved, our genetics team and a CCRM Fertility physician will evaluate your application. You’ll also undergo an FDA phone screening conducted by a CCRM Fertility nurse. The final decision will be communicated within 3-6 weeks.
Preparation
Begin the stimulation phase with daily hormone injections for 9-14 days, setting the stage for egg retrieval. This will take place in our clinic with daily appointments for one week, lasting about 30 minutes each, designed to minimally disrupt your daily life.
Retrieval
Undergo the egg retrieval process, a significant step in your donation journey.
Recovery
A post-procedure call from CCRM Fertility ensures you’re informed and supported post-donation.
Compensation

How much time is involved?
The egg donation process begins with completing a simple application, followed by a phone call within about a week to discuss the next steps. Once approved, you’ll be invited to one of our clinics for a thorough workup. After your workup, you’ll have a few weeks to prepare before starting the medication regimen.
Once the medications begin, it takes just two weeks until the egg retrieval, bringing you closer to making a profound difference in someone’s life. Depending on the required testing, the entire process can take anywhere from 2 to 4 months. We work on your timeline to ensure you’re donating at a time that works best with your schedule.
What are the requirements?
To be eligible for egg donation, candidates must be 21 to 33 years old, non-smokers without recreational drug use, have a BMI between 19 and 29.9, and no body piercings or tattoos in the past three months if under sterile technique. A thorough knowledge of personal and family health history, proficiency in English for clear communication, and being a U.S. resident with eligibility to work in the country are also required.
Can I still go to work or school?
Yes, you can typically continue with your work or school activities while participating in the egg donation process. The majority of the process, including hormone injections, is designed to fit within your daily routine. However, you may need to attend several monitoring appointments, which could require some flexibility in your schedule. On the day of the egg retrieval, you’ll need to take time off for the procedure and recovery, but this usually involves just a brief period away from work or school.
Do I have legal responsibilities if I agree to become a donor?
As an egg donor, you generally won’t have any legal responsibilities toward any children born from your donated eggs. Egg donation is conducted under strict agreements that ensure the donor relinquishes all parental rights. CCRM Fertility thoroughly reviews this with you during the process to understand all implications fully.
Will the recipients meet me?
Our egg donation program is anonymous, meaning you won’t meet the recipients. While we strive to preserve your anonymity, there are legal and environmental factors that might influence this. We also participate in donor identity release, meaning once the child reaches the age of 18, they will have access to identifying information.
Can I donate more than once?
Yes, you can donate eggs more than once, provided you remain healthy and continue to meet the eligibility criteria. The maximum number of donations is generally up to six times, though there may be additional state-level criteria that apply.
