Dr. Ian Waldman is a reproductive endocrinologist at CCRM Fertility of Miami. He is double board-certified by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
Dr. Waldman completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Miami and obtained his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. During his residency training in OBGYN at Penn State, he was awarded the Outstanding Resident Teacher Award, P.G. Satyaswaroop Memorial Research Award, and The Penn State College of Medicine Excellence in Teaching Award. He went on to complete a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Brigham and Women’s Hospital via Harvard Medical School before going on to practice REI with Brown Fertility. While completing his training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital he was awarded a NIH T32 grant at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Waldman has specialized training in the evaluation and treatment of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), fertility preservation, unexplained infertility, endometriosis, recurrent pregnancy loss, and assisted reproductive technologies.
In addition to presenting his research and speaking at numerous medical conferences, Dr. Waldman has authored various publications for notable peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Emergency Radiology, the Journal of Acute Medicine, Women’s Health Issues, Seminars in Reproductive Medicine, and Fertility Research and Practice. He has also authored multiple textbook chapters on PCOS and surgical treatments for fertility patients. His research includes the clinical relevance of luteal phase progesterone support in true natural cycle cryopreserved blastocyst stage embryo transfers, abdominal wall endometriosis, and robotics within reproductive surgery, and he has formal teaching experience in PCOS, amenorrhea, and early pregnancy evaluation/recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL).

Outside of his work as a fertility doctor, Dr. Waldman finds joy and balance in various hobbies. These include playing with his two boys, wakeboarding, reading, cooking, playing chess, and spending quality time with his family.
