A Story Of Fate, Fertility & Friends

As fate would have it, one day while sitting in the waiting room, RADfertility patients Megan Batdorf and Emily Bonner spotted each other! The two had been friends during their days at Oxford High School but had lost touch and were excited to reconnect! It wasn’t long until they realized that they were going through similar fertility journeys and were only one month apart throughout the IVF process.

Throughout the days and months ahead, Megan and Emily continued to chat, cheering each other on for each major step. On May 2, 2019, Emily and Timothy showed up for their embryo transfer with nothing but good vibes and a positive spirit for Transfer Day. A month later on June 4, 2019, Megan and Matthew brought their own dose of fun to Transfer Day with Matthew’s ode to Megan’s strength and never-give-up attitude.

We totally agree with Matthew’s shirt – Go Megan! Matthew and Megan were inspired to wear these super fun Transfer Day shirts after seeing so many encouraging shirts from all of our patients!
Emily and Timothy knew it was a good day to have a good day! They sported these awesome Transfer Day shirts and brought their positive vibes for this milestone day on their journey.

Both Megan and Emily found success on their first embryo transfer. They continued to check on each other and serve as a source of support and encouragement for one another.

Megan ended up being induced one month early and Emily was scheduled to be induced as her little miracle was running a week late. With their timing right on track with each other, the physicians at Chester County Hospital placed Emily and Megan in rooms right next to each other after hearing their incredible story! On January 24, 2020, Megan and Matthew welcomed Connor into their family and one day later, on January 25, 2020, Penelope Moon was born to her excited parents, Emily and Timothy! Two RADfertility babies born right next to each other – now that’s RAD!
Their RAD miracle is finally here! Megan and Matthew welcomed Connor Batdorf on January 24, 2020.
Penelope Moon Bonner arrived one day later to her proud parents, Emily and Timothy, on January 25, 2020.
