TODAY’s Fertility Frontiers series marking National Infertility Awareness Week continues with the story of Tyler and Crystal Wilson, who fought to get funding for in vitro fertilization (IVF) to conceive after Tyler was injured while serving in the U.S. military. In response to our request for comment, the VA said “The process was clear in confirming eligibility, however additional challenges arose when the spouse requested an out-of-network community provider”. They also said they are “always working to improve timeliness of care” and that they “regret any frustration the delay cause for the Wilson family..
