Annual Top Doctor’s Issue is a Patient’s Guide to the Best Care in the OC
January 22, 2016 – CCRM Orange County physician Mark Kan, M.D., was named a “Top Doctor” in the January 2016 issue of Orange Coast Magazine. This recognition demonstrates Dr. Kan’s continuous commitment in providing the best in quality care for his patients in the field of reproductive endocrinology.
Nominees are selected by their peers through Castle Connolly and are required to meet at least two of four criteria, including physician leadership, humanitarian service, teaching or mentoring, and other unique contributions to the field of medicine. A doctor must also be certified by one of the American Board of Medical Specialties, be in practice in Orange County for at least five years, and be in good standing with the Medical Board of California.

Dr. Kan has taught medical students and residents at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine, the University of Washington, and Cornell University. He has been awarded the Volunteer Clinical Teaching Faculty Award from the 2005 graduating class of physicians in OB/GYN at the University of California in Irvine. Dr. Kan is Board Certified in both OB/GYN and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, representing the highest level of training and certification for a fertility specialist. He has performed award-winning research in embryo transfer and PGD techniques and strives to give the highest quality of care to his patients.
