Ashley Urben, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, earned her bachelor’s degree in English and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Michigan. After a brief career in publishing, she went on to pursue her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Marymount University. She continued her studies at George Mason University and completed her Master of Science in Nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program. Ashley currently maintains board certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a licensed Nurse Practitioner in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
Ashley’s nursing experience includes working in both the Postpartum and NICU units as well as in the field of reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Prior to obtaining her graduate degree, Ashley worked as an IVF Nurse Coordinator at a local fertility clinic and later transitioned into the Nurse Practitioner role. She has more than ten years of experience in reproductive medicine.
Since joining CCRM Fertility in 2023, Ashley’s responsibilities include performing transvaginal sonograms during monitoring, hysterosalpingograms (HSG), intrauterine inseminations (IUI), endometrial biopsies, management of obstetrical patients and first trimester OB ultrasounds, FDA and physical exams, and uterine cavity evaluations. Her role will also include coordinating ovulation induction cycles, lab interpretation and management for IVF and other medicated cycles, and fertility counseling.
