Pinar Kodaman, MD, is the founding partner and Medical Director of CCRM Fertility of Connecticut, opening in 2025. Dr. Kodaman is board-certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
Earning her Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale College, Dr. Kodaman graduated summa cum laude in 1994. She continued her education at Yale University, where she received her MD from the Yale School of Medicine in 2001 and concurrently completed her PhD in Pharmacology.
Dr. Kodaman completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale-New Haven Hospital, serving as Chief Resident in her final year. She then pursued a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Yale University School of Medicine, where she also served as an instructor.
Dr. Kodaman holds a focused practice designation in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS). She is recognized for her expertise in advanced reproductive surgery, endometriosis, fibroids, and fertility preservation. Her clinical and research efforts have been supported by numerous grants, including significant contributions to NIH-funded studies on obesity-driven endometrial hyperplasia and the management of uterine fibroids.
Throughout her career, Dr. Kodaman has been a sought-after speaker at national and international conferences, sharing her insights on topics such as fibroids, fertility preservation, and endometriosis. Her work has been widely published in peer-reviewed journals, and she has been featured as an expert in various nationwide media outlets.
Outside of the office, Dr. Kodaman finds joy in tending to her garden, cooking meals for loved ones, and expressing her passion for music through classical piano.
In addition to English, Dr. Kodaman is fluent in Turkish and conversant in French.
